From the fabled city of ancient Egyptian gods to the contemporary stages of the world, Gregangelo and Velocity Arts presents a stellar cast of international performing artists, museum quality costuming and a breathtaking journey through the space/time continuum. Heliopolis is rich with mesmerizing music, awe-inspiring dance, gravity defying circus arts and captivating multi-media visual effects.

Commissioned for the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibition at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the production offers a panorama of Egyptian history, mythology, folklore and fantasy in a full-spectrum extravaganza.

Spell-bound audiences of all ages delight in Gregangelo’s world-class Whirling Dervish, featured with Cirque du Soleil, hypnotic hand dances, hoops of fire, contortionists, aerialists, snake charmers and luminescent beings from another dimension.

With a cast option of 12-20 artists, the production is easily adapted to traditional proscenium theaters, as well as, various settings.
