MOMENTA: The force and
speed expressing the motion of a body Momenta is a principle member
of San Francisco based Velocity Circus Troupe. Her diverse circus
skills include: flying trapeze, static trapeze, Spanish web, aerial
tissue, gymnastics and acrobatic bicycle. Momenta also teaches Aerial
Arts locally and internationally. She has performed at numerous
local galas and internationally at various Club Med resorts. |
FUSION:
Fusion have combined their astronomical
skills to create duo trapeze and rope acts of unsurpassed creativity
and beauty. They have graced the stages of numerous international
circuses, showcases, and galas. Individually, their repertoires
include solo trapeze, flying trapeze, aerial clowning, Spanish
web, cloud swing, tissue, stilt walking, and juggling. |
FRICTION: Friction has taken her vast dance experience
to the skies as an aerialist specializing in trapeze and tissue.
In addition to her seventeen plus years of studying/ performing
ballet and musical theater, she has spent the last four years
training in aerial arts and Chinese acrobatics with Master
Lu Yi at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts. She has
recently performed with the L.A. Circus and the San Francisco
Circus, and has appeared in local theater and cabaret productions
including the highly acclaimed Defenestration event. Her numerous
skills in the performing arts can be combined to suit any
theatrical need. |
CENTRIFICA Centrifica is an accomplished Spanish web artist who has toured for over ten years with the New-Old Time Chautauga and The Flying Karamazov Brothers. She has extensive training in theater and aerial arts and continues acrobatic training with Master Lu Yi at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts. Centrifica is a registered nurse, a graduate of Stanford School of Medicine, and a qualified teacher of circus skills to youth and adults. Height: 5'2" |
SPECTRA: A diverse range of related ideas which overlap so as to form a continuous sequence. Spectra is a Regional, National and International Champion Gymnast/Skater and Entertainer. Spectra's spectacular signature acts combine Ice or In-line Skating with Gravity-defying gymnastics stunts, object manipulation (ball, hoop, ribbon), and daring circus aerials on Spanish web or tissue. Her singularly unique acts have landed her in the spotlight alongside Olympic champions such as Kristi Yamaguchi and Brian Boitano, as well as in shared performances with top names like Tony Hawk and Eddie Campos in extreme sports. ANTARES: A Red Super giant Star of the First Magnitude Antares, a multi-award-winning aerialist and acrobat, has graced the stages of numerous international-caliber shows. His extraordinary combinations of Olympian style gymnastics, circus arts, and dance are omnipresent in his wondrous signature acts such as: Flying cube/straps, Aerial tissue/straps, Hand balancing, Perch pole, Bungee, Roman rings, High wire, the death-defying Upside-down Walk, and more! ANDROMEDA: Andromeda is an International performer and teacher of aerial trapeze acts. Andromeda originally trained in Flying Trapeze, Capoeira, Tight Wire and Acrobatics at the Ecole Nationale du Cirque in Paris. Her acts of Galactic strength include: solo static trapeze, doubles static cloud swing, partner/solo hand balancing (human statue), and comedic mini-trampoline. Andromeda can also incorporate her virtuoso violin playing into some of her powerful acts. Height: 5' 4" |
IMAGO: An idealized concept formed in childhood and retained through adult life This Imago Duo began their career as competitive gymnasts. Combined, they have won numerous national and world championships, as well as a gold medal at the Canada Games. Becoming elite in their sport landed them a job with the prestigious Cirque Du Soleil. After years with Cirque, this Duo conceived Imago, an aerial display of powerful climbs, drops, Palanques, Partner acrobatics, and momentum on the graceful aerial tissue. Imago is a favorite spectacle act at special and gala events. |
SIDUS: From the age of seven Sidus has been training extensively in gymnastics, which culminated in his winning the honor of Gymnastic Champion four years in a row. Sidus then joined the Moscow Circus where he performed various circus acts including the Flying Trapeze, High Bars, Trampoline and Juggling. He was then approached by the widely popular Cirque du Soleil to be a featured performer showcasing his Vertical Rope Acrobatics, a sensual ballet of strength and agility set to music. Currently, Sidus is performing his unique art for exlusive events including corporate meetings and conventions, special openings such as the "Star Wars" Prermier, and even the New York fashion shows of Gianni Versace. Sidus has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, performed with Aerosmith at the American Music Awards, and Destiny's Child at the Grammy Awards. Height:
